The Sabercat Football squad was busy this week.  After the JV/Varsity squads returned from Mountain Camp in Gunnison, CO, they hit the neighborhoods throughout the town to do some good for the community.  

Teaming up with the Douglas/Elbert County Task Force, the Gridiron Club, and the CV Football program set forth a plan to replenish the the Cupboards at the Task Force facility.

The DE Task Force is a non-profit human service organization dedicated to providing assistance to people in Douglas and Elbert counties who are in serious economic need, at risk of homelessness, or in similar crisis. 

The Football team was able to collect over 1300 lbs of Food and Toiletries in just 2 hours on Wednesday afternoon.  Officials at the Task Force stated that this was a record amount raised in this amount of time.
