Castle View announced today the hiring of Todd Casebier, from Fruita-Monument. Casebier is well-known for turning football programs around in Colorado and competing for state titles.
After winning a state championship at Palisade in 2003, Coach Casebier accepted the challenge of turning around an under-achieving team on the Western Slope in 2004. When Casebier took charge of the Montrose program, the team was coming off a 1-10 season. Over the course of a decade, Casebier won 86 games, including 9 playoff appearances.
In 2014, Casebier accepted a similar challenge at Fruita-Monument, a program who had not experienced a winning season in the 10 years prior to his arrival. Casebier lead the team to the Colorado State 5A playoffs in his first year at Fruita, with post-season appearances in the following 2 years as well. In 2017, Fruita won all 10 regular season games and is positioned for a title run in 2018.
In his 20 seasons as Head Coach, Coach Casebier has won 75% of his games with a record of 175-60 with 18 playoff appearances, 11 league titles and 12 Coach of the Year awards.
