Always Improving

Landon Williams has been playing football for 13 years, since he was 4 years old in Texas.  The gregarious Defensive End/Tight End is focused on helping his 'football brothers' get into and win in the Colorado 5A Playoffs.

The co-captain has had a great year, dating back to his summer performance where he was recognized a CSU-Pueblo “Pack” award winner.  The senior is involved in multiple activities and groups outside of football including; Plum Creek Church youth group, DECA and Ambassadors of Compassion.

Landon aspires to play at the next level and has been in talks with Junior College Power House, Garden City in Garden City, Kansas, where he has family and multiple connections.  Williams desires to study Sports Medicine.

“ One of my biggest mentors is Coach Rico Ochoa. He encourages me to get better every single day at practice and never be satisfied with myself in and off the field.”

"We have a great group of young men that make us special", stated Coach Ochoa.  He continued, "Landon is an awesome young man... the kind of kid every coach wants to have. He is a true student of the game.  He is always watching film to fix any mistakes  so he can always be improving. Every week his play gets better. It doesn’t get any better than that !"

Williams continued, “Football has taught me how to never give up in anything I do. It pushes me to go pass what I think I can do. I have a mindset that I can do anything I set my mind to by working hard."

Landon is one of 4 children.  Older sister (Bethany), younger sister (Selah) and younger brother (Dawson).  His parents are Monty and Leslie.

For fun, the senior stated,  “I like going out with my girlfriend Olivia and playing Fortnite with my boys!”

This is another special player on a very special team.
